What you can publish

• Kindle ebook — for tablets and the Kindle app.
• Paperback 8.5 × 8.5 in — best for a picture book. 24 pages, premium color, no bleed. This is the one to start with.
• Paperback 8.5 × 11 in — optional taller size that matches the original pages.
• Not hardcover on KDP. Amazon hardcovers need 75+ pages. This story is 24. Order paperback author copies, or use IngramSpark later for a true picture-book hardcover.

Upload, in order

1. On your phone, open Safari and go to kdp.amazon.com. Sign in with Amazon.
2. Create a Kindle eBook. Title: Snowglobe Stories. Author: Randal C. Sanden Jr. Age 3–8. Upload the Kindle cover JPG, then the Kindle interior PDF.
3. Create a paperback and link it to that eBook. Trim size 8.5 × 8.5 in. Interior: Premium color, white paper, no bleed. Matte or glossy cover.
4. Upload the matching interior PDF and the cover wrap PDF. In the previewer, check faces aren’t cut and the white box on the back is empty for Amazon’s barcode.
5. Set a price (picture books often $9.99–$14.99 print, $2.99–$4.99 ebook). Publish, then order an author copy before sharing the Amazon link.
